Since 2007 the Buffet King has been popular for Chinese dining away from the city and close to Newcastles’s Gateshead and surrounding areas.

The Buffet King oriental family restaurant is located near the Odeon Cinemas, upstairs in the Yellow Mall area of the Metrocentre. If you are near Primark, The Lego store, JD sports or Starbucks then we are just around the corner and open from 10am till late every day.

COVID-19 Safety
In consideration for all of our customers and our staff, we will still have rules in place:

- Temperatures are taken before entry.
- Staff will wear face masks at all times for your safety and peace of mind.
- Customers are required to wear face masks when at the buffet tables.
- Anti-bacterial gel will be freely available - please use liberally.
- Please keep a considerate distance to others.

We take your safety and that of our staff very seriously so you can have peace of mind while enjoying your time with us. Please note that this can mean that we retain the right to refuse entry to the restaurant if you are showing signs or symptoms of the virus (eg. Temperature) or if you are not wearing a mask (as mandated by the Metrocentre)
Please note that you are not required to wear a mask once you are sat at your table and eating….for obvious reasons… :)
